Skoda has ruled out ever make a standalone low cost sports car, preferring instead to focus, as profitable car in volume segments.
The company showed its open Skoda Fabia vRS S2000 sports car concept at the Worthersee in the summer, raising speculation that it might be, to the vRS brand in a purely sporting model expand.

But Skoda technical head Eckhard Scholz excluded a sports car to Autocar, say: "This is not the next step for us.""We want to in volume segments to go."
Scholz pointed out that Skoda needed ambitious plan, its sales from 2011 in 1.5 million units in the year 2018, pure "do the large segments and focusing on the right things" to double.
Skoda is ready, its brand but expand vRS, shown with a vRS version of MissionL concept , Frankfurt last week and a hot version of the more traditional station wagon of the car, preview in Geneva in March with VisionD.
There will be no vRS version of superb, Scholz said, as the badge "the car must fit". He believes that superb is not suitable to a hot version of vRS.
